Why I should be selected to join the Touch Korea Tour?

Why Me?? Out of all the overenthusiastic fans out there?! Just simply cause South Korea has managed to melt millions of hearts including mine with its delicious mouth watering Cuisine, Natural beauty, advanced technologies, developed country, friendly locals and not to forget the main reason; Cause there's simply too many good-looking guys there! Hahaha...흠하하하하하하하!!! I find Korea the most fascinating place ever!

Obviously no doubt that it's also because I'm an avid / die-hard fan of JYPE! (づ￣ ³￣)づ haha.. From my other blogs & previous post in this blog itself you could have seen the pattern in it! Yeap I'm talking about 2PM!! Haha..major impact in a HOTTEST's world.. Once a HOTTEST always will be a HOTTEST! =)

So, I will be the most "happiest" *sorry for the wrong grammatical approach here, couldn't find a more appropriate word to describe my overwhelming joy!* girl on the face of the planet if I were given the chance to ever be apart of this wonderful journey! If I were to be chosen, the first thing in my mind would be to brush up on my Korean so that I can speak fluently to Junsu! =P Hahaha....just watching that smile makes my day! =)

JYP is a South Korean singer, songwriter, record producer, and the current CEO/founder of JYP Entertainment [JYPE], a major artist management/record label of Korean pop music and one of the most successful artists/entrepreneur in Asia.

He graduated from Yonsei University majoring in Geology in 1996. His début in 1994 with the first album Blue City. Especially, his fashion style since his début has been very controversial over the Korean People. He composed many No.1 hit songs and choreographed dance moves for many artists that became popular in Korea.

He has produced many successful Korean Artists including Park Ji Yoon, K-Will, Rain, G.O.D, and Wonder Girls, 2PM. As a producer, he is the first Asian producer to successfully crossover to the U.S, producing music for Will Smith, Mase and Cassie. He has produced over 27 No.1 singles and 19 No.1 albums in Asia through his industry leading company, JYP Entertainment. He married to a woman named Yoon Jung Suh in 1998, whom he had crush on for 9 years which later divorced after the 10years of marriage . He has also produced music for F4 and Jackie Chung in China, and for AI in Japan.

In early 2011, JYP made his acting debut in Dream High, for which he received a nomination for New Actor of the Year at the Baek Sang Arts Awards. In January 2012 he was seen in the sequel to Dream High called Dream High 2. In fact, it came so naturally that most of the OST from both dramas were composed by him.

A report from the Korea Times and the business and finance portal site Chaebul.com revealed that JYP Entertainment generated $16.3 million in revenue in 2006 and $10 million during the first six months of 2007. The report valued JYP Entertainment to be worth in excess of $100 million, making it the most valuable independent entertainment company in Korea.

Current artist under the label includes: 2PM, 2AM, Miss A, Wonder Girls, J Lim, Kim Soo Young, Joo, rapper San E, actor JB & Jr. Under the same roof they are also known as JYP Nation [a project name used by JYPE] which is somehow similar to YG Family & SM Town.

Why he Inspires Me?
Okay face it, he might not be the most good-looking of all, but with those talent who wouldn't fall in love with him? hehe... Without a doubt, his a multi-talented entrepreneur which became branching out from being an artist. Being such a successful & highly sorted he is now one of the most influential person in Korea. *Wondering to myself: If there is any chance for me to be able to work under JYP??!* Wow..that's an honour! haha...

Ohya, he just made his comeback recently after 2 years hiatus, finally his back on stage! I love this song so much "Someone Else" featuring Gain[BEG] which is a medium tempo R&B track written & composed by JYP himself.

JYP's mini-album “Spring” contains 5 songs that is to be delivered to a new love. Aside from the title song “You’re the one”, The track list includes “Feel so good”, “Someone else”, “Last love”, and “Please”. Each of those songs is filled with a true feeling for a longing for the beloved. =)

Make-up brand IT’S SKIN’s ‘Prestige Cream Descargo’ (also known as Snail Cream) has sold over 70,000 after only a month of launching its advertisement, thanks to group ‘2PM’ Nichkhun’s ‘Kiss’ theme advertisement.

IT’S SKIN’s Snail Cream became well known for its reputation as ‘revival cream that goes against time’ has been a steady seller since its first launch in September 2009 but after Nichkhun became the new model for the product, the sales have been going up even higher.

Nichkhun’s ‘Kiss’ advertisement and the international phone call advertisement “Going down down down~” are battling for the first place on the portal site tvcf.co.kr that specialises in commercials. Thanks to Nichkhun, IT’S SKIN’s profit has been “Going up up up~”. ^^

Also, IT’S SKIN’s commercial has been seen on ‘youtube’ with more than 150,000 views in just one day and has brought a huge sensation.

IT’S SKIN’s Commercial Department team leader Haeyoung Jeong as said, “The Snail Cream has been a steady seller for its top functions and Nichkhun’s modelling for the product was one of the key points to the huge success.” She also mentioned that “we have prepared many events and promotions for our customers who have given us love and interest.”

It all started with just an enjoyable pastime watching k-dramas which slowly blooms out of proportion! Haha! XD Why Korea you would ask? But after experiencing the lively culture "shock" who wouldn't be drawn by their amazing sense of style, fashion, architectures, natural beauties & friendly locals. It's one of the safest countries I've been. The food are amazing too, it suited my taste bud so well! Not to mention K-POP fever! =D

So let's keep it simple. Korea has it all! Let's venture into the virtual windows of your screen & let your imagination run wild thru my world!

Okay face it, South Korea is not only well known for their KIMCHI but there's tonnes of yummy local treats too! There's Ddeokbokki (a sweet & spicy rice cake), Kimbap, Jajangmyeon, Bibimbap (my fav!), banana milk~~Hmmm yummy XD Their fried Chicken is the best! It's even nicer than KFC! =P
Too bad I had only 1 week there! So gonna go again next year! =P

I find that they have such unique language that it's a fun journey for me learning to speak & read in them too! Let's go thru the BASIC or just a simply HandyExpression when its needed! =)
By self learning, it even inspires me, one day maybe one day I'll be able to study in Ewha Womans University too! I'm looking thru their courses & working/trying real hard to make this happen in the near future! Pray for me & just hope dreams come true right?! hehe...
Ewha Womans University is a private women's university in Seoul & it's one of the top prestigious Uni there.

From BUS to SUBWAY it's all super efficient there! I love their Subway so much, cause even for a person with no sense of direction like ME is able to Backpack in Seoul! Haha.. Wanna know how to get to Nami Island from Seoul??! Gladly share with you guys HERE.

I bet there's a few places in your mind right now! Other than the typical must-visit places in Seoul like: [Myeong-Dong street, Insadong, Gyeongbokgung, N-Tower, Namsangol Hanok village]; there's also so many sights with stunning landscapes perfect for avid photographers, places like: Nami Island, Jeju, Seongsan Sunrise Peak, Gwang-An Bridge, Jeungdo Salt Farm, Seorak Mountain & many more..
With only 1 week, the places that I can is limited..Still I have lots of fun! =D

Okay~~When it comes to this chapter, I can go on&on for non-stop..so better not ryte! Lets Keep it simple here..will update you guys in another post! *wink!* Face it! South Korea is so famous now all thanks to the Korean Wave that swept thru the entire nation by storm!
Did you know that the Korean Wave is responsible for $4.2 billion dollars of revenue just in the year 2011 for South Korea through cultural exports! WOW..Daebak~~
Drama/Movies
Watching dramas all day long, that's what I do..I don't even study for exams.. keke.. Luckily my parents won't stop me..as they know it's pointless..well coz I get quite good scores too..that's why?! So why bother...LOLxx
There's so many to choose from these days, bottom to name a few that I've watch, maybe 30% from the entire watched list?!! Hahaha...drama freak...I won't even think to list down the movies...that too much! Now you could see where I got my inspiration from~~Through dramas..they have taught me alot! Touching on all aspects, from their culture, people, technologies, cuisine, political issues~~

Variety Shows
It's super popular with the help of their multi-talented artists & comedians! Surprisingly their comedians are way better then the Americans! List a few that I loves watching: We Got Married, Happy Together, Happy Sunday, Invincible Youth, Win-Win, Strong Heart, Birth of a Family, Gag Concert, Star Golden Bell, Immortal song 2. Ohya! I'm an avid fan of 2Days 1Night & Running Man! Keeps me laughing out like a fool~~Wahaha.. =D Try watching it...you'll get hooked!
K-pop
That's the only songs I listen to these days! There's SE7EN, SISTAR, 4-MINUTE, B2ST, JAY PARK, INFINITE, BIG-BANG, 2NE1, AILEE, BAP, TIARA..etc. But Nothing can beat 2PM!!! Hottest all the way~~Kyaa~~haha..I know I'm a avid JYPE fan! S.Korea's is such a strong contestant when it comes to their K-pop musics. All thanks to the k-poppers out there! Like us...And tips here: If you have the chance to visit S.Korea, better prepare more budget as the albums there are super affordable! You can actually get a rookie album for just as cheap as 5,000won! Yup...guess it...I spent like nobody's business too when I'm there! Hahaha.. XD

I could never get enough of them. I even get comments from friends saying that: "Aren't you too old for this?" Come on!! You don't have to in like 12 or 15 years old to be able to like them. They are just my age & what's wrong with that?! Hahaha... But Why them? Not sure, only one thing - They are the best! FULLSTOP! Get to know more about them, & be a proud HOTTEST like me. =)

So, what's to say more?! Why Am I even qualified to be chosen? Simple..It's my life long dream to travel to S.Korea & I'm more than bless to be able to have been there even once!

Okay face it! Why another? Blog I meant..hehe.. Well all I can say is that, there's so much to see, so much to say; yet so little time. I created this blog for one purpose and one purpose only- That is to take you readers on a worthwhile imaginary journey to the land of the K-poppers and also a beautiful breath-taking country called Korea.

This blog is also dedicated to "Touch Korea Blog Contest"! hosted by KTO. Do visit the little space of mine K-GongJu! Where it's a lil-something to share my thoughts and passion on my Hallyu obsession with all the K-pop lovers out there! =)

Okay about this contest; as part of Korea Tourism Year 2012, KTO threw a competition to all Malaysians to start writing blogs and stand a chance to meet 2PM *YES! You heard/read me right! 2PM no joke..I think I'm still dreaming..someone pinch me!haha* and Miss A in Korea and the lucky winner will experience the Korea Tour with them *faint!*! We're supposed to write about what inspires us about Korea, and also why we should be selected to join the tour. Even though I know the chances are as slim as a strain of hair, but still there's no harm in trying right?! Well at least the most you get out of this is that; you could be inspiring others as well! =D

How did I ever come across KTO anyway? Well, DUH?? It's KTO as in short for "Korea Tourism Organization". Did you know that other than getting valuable travelling info from them, you can actually be a part of their extended family? Yes, it's called the "Saranghaeyo Korea Club". Other than that, at Korea Plaza *their KL branch, well it's the only Korea Tourism centre in Malaysia*, they offer variety of free classes from cooking class, k-pop singing, korean make-up, dancing and also not to forget the most basic Korean learning class! How cool can that be. But, it's a sad case as I'm no way near KL from where I'm staying! *sob*

But, even without the need of me staying anywhere near the centre, I can still get info from them. Recently me & my buddy went Back-Pack to Seoul and with the help from KTO we got tones of informative brochures & magazines to ease our trip there! COOL! =)
